More People At Ease Using Chat Video Rooms and Cam Chat Sites Due To The Advances In Technology And Availability Of Services In USA, Canada, Australia, UK, And Europe

"Online dating is definitely a new and much needed twist on relationships," said Harry Reis, a co-author of the study and professor of psychology at the University of Rochester. Additionally, with the work-place related pressures that leads to lack of time to socialize being on the rise, online dating have taken over the process of physical dating albeit in a virtual form.

Through meeting people in chat video and cam chat rooms, many people who would have otherwise delayed their 'active social life', have since turned to them and consequently gotten themselves their life-time soul mates. Most people also find video chat rooms a viable means of getting more dates than they do in other places. Recent statistics by Ipsos-Reid, an international market and social research company, show that 52% of Americans say they have a better chance of meeting and dating other people through online dating services than at a bar. This phenomenon is not only applicable to the United States of America but is catching up in other countries like Canada, UK, Australia, Europe and the rest of the world.

"The online dating is the preferred mode going by the advancement in technology since it affords one the opportunity to be both active at workplace and at the same time make time to ' virtually meet up' with others who end up spicing up their social life at their convenience without the limitations associated with the time and place issues. This is because online dating sites can be available on mobile devices, or any other gadgets provided one has internet connectivity".

Chat video rooms have also helped in bridging racial relations since persons who are separated geographically have an opportunity of interacting thereby cultural and knowledge transfer takes place. Andre Starr, the founder of Stargazer Video Chat adds that that "going forward, chat rooms are far much cheaper and more efficient in finding a suitable partner compared with say 'physical dating' which is quite costly and oftentimes have distractions from others. Study: 71% of Online Americans Use Online Video Sites

Video is becoming more and more important to U.S. Internet users, with the use of video-sharing sites like YouTube and Vimeo up 5% compared with last year, according to a new study.

The study, from the Pew Research Center's Internet & American Life project, revealed that video-sharing site usage has risen to 71% of online Americans (up from 66% last year) equally split across gender lines. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the sites tend to be frequented by younger viewers, with 92% of users aged 18-29 using them, compared with 54% of ages 50-64 and only 31% of users aged 65 and above. Hispanic users are more likely to use the sites than African American or Caucasian users (81% versus 76% and 69%, respectively), and those based in urban areas are more likely than those in suburbia or rural areas (72% versus 71% and 68%, respectively).

Interestingly, the study found that increased use of these sites coincides with increases in site content, and suggests that the rise in watching videos online is connected to a rise in making videos: "Some 34% of the cell phone owners in the country have shot video with their phone; 26% have watched video on their phone; and 22% have posted videos or photos online," says the report.

Perhaps that's what Hulu's been needing all along: More user-created content.

YouTube Begins to Teach its Partners to Get Videos Viral

Previously in this March, Google's subsidiary YouTube acquired video production team Next New Networks to help their partners to create more attractive, high quality and viral videos. It seems that YouTube is very eager to its video quality. According to The New York Times, YouTube makes another move toward some excellent video creators – to teach them the video making skills.

YouTube called up some video partners to New York to teach them some tricks and skills about how to create viral videos. Some tricks are seemingly rather useful, such as don't upload your videos to YouTube on Friday afternoon and contact key bloggers via Email to ask them to post a link to your video. By doing this, video creators can bring out more viral videos and drive higher traffic to YouTube, so that YouTube can earn more money from video advertising, which is the reason why YouTube made this boot camp for their partners.

So far few people can make six figures income a year purely from video making. It's very difficult to directly make big money from video. A good viral video needs several things: good idea, video editing skills and some relevant equipment. So YouTube needs to solve these problems for its video contributors, so that they have the motivation and money to generate more high quality videos.

Well, here I'm gonna share what I know about the video. First of all, there are several main elements in the music video: the one-eyed king, the throne made of antlers, the snake, the white dogs, the Linkin Park band having dinner, the outer space and the Transformers robots. But what do all those elements mean? Actually, I don't know. It's rather complicated. Tell you the truth: even the guys in Linkin Park themselves are confused of the music video.

You may have noticed the scenario which shows the LP band sitting at a tablet together in a feast. Actually it mirrors Leonardo da Vinci's painting "The Last Super".

Joe Hann, who directed the "Iridescent" music video, explained in Linkin Park's official blog that "the video explores how human existence might be affected by the elements of Transformers robots and the threat of the Decepticons."

This is this third time that Linkin Park cooperates with Transformers film series. Previously, Transformers' theme song "What I've Done" and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen's lead soundtrack "New Divide" are all LP's songs. When asked why they chose "Iridescent" for "Dark of the Moon," Mike Shinoda, one of the band's lead vocalists, said the song felt like a good fit.

The 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon" will hit theaters on June 29, 2011. The film's soundtrack will be available in stores on June 14.
